Samsung created the event at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas (USA), presenting a whole range of televisions equipped with a brand new home technology called Qled, supposed to be an alternative to Oled privileged especially by its Great rival LG.
The Q9, Q8, and Q7 series, all ultra-HD (including some curved-screen models) up to 88 inches, are the first to benefit from what Samsung claims to be "the best picture quality ever Rendered ". According to the South Korean manufacturer, its Qled TVs are able to reproduce perfectly any colors and even offer subtle shades depending on the ambient brightness.
Samsung also worked on the image quality according to the viewing angle and promises no quality loss up to 45 degrees. These televisions would also display a record brightness between 1,500 and 2,000 nits according to Samsung.
Samsung also wants to improve the functionality related to connected TV, thanks in particular to an update of its own operating system Tizen, more intuitive and complete than ever.
